Theological Studies
Although an individual may have an intellectual or spiritual understanding of theology from experiential learning, or other; yet formal learning is indeed an important aspect of the Christian faith.
A course in Theology gives a wider view of the way we use the Bible and its importance to our lives while it also uncovers the attributes and character of God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
To give a fair description of theology we can clearly say that it is the study [II Timothy 2:15]; writing [II Timothy 3:16-17; I Peter 1:20-21]; and research for historical evidence by theologians and others to obtain truth of the written word and historical reports.
Theology can also be explanation of the nature of God and His relation to His creation. Similar to other learning, theology may include other specific thoughts and ideologies. This type of study is normally carried out in religious institutions where the promotion of religious beliefs is part of the mission.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
I Peter 3:15-16 [KJV]
