Biblical Conflict Management
This course intends to teach students how to handle conflicts in a positive and productive manner, and from the biblical perspective. It will give students an understanding of how conflict develops and teach them skills for the resolution of those situations.
The aim of this course is to help students learn alternative interpersonal skills for dealing with conflict. They will be helped in developing critical thinking skills for problem solving by looking at issues with a different perspective, and dealing with those issues in a positive and constructive manner before they escalate into destructive situations.
Since misunderstanding in communication is one of the main factors that usually result in conflicts the purpose of this course is to teach students how to listen and respond effectively.
Students will gain knowledge concerning the reasons why some people behave unethically, which could be differences in their personalities; and often it could be lack of personal needs.
When those needs are unmet, people act in ways, which are often unsociable causing unethical interpersonal problems.
